Makeup Revolution ICONIC PRO lipsticks

It will probably come as no surprise to most of you that I am quite partial to Licila.si when it comes to make-up shopping. And they are often lovely and spoil me with a thoughtful gifts when they receive new products. One of such packages arrived yesterday and inside was one of the new Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro lipstick in the shade Game of mystery matte

I took it out, applied it and a couple of hours later I was in love. So normally, I went and ordered a few more, because why not, right? You can now buy Makeup Revolution products on a brand new site  and until end of June 2015, you can use the code BLOG17 to get 17 % off your purchase (on the products not yet on sale).

I now own not one, not two, not three, but four of the Iconic Pro lipsticks. In all, there are twenty different lipsticks in the collection.

They come in either a satin or matte finish, so you could basically choose the same shade in two finishes, but this is not true for all of the shades in the range.

Each individual lipstick costs 4,95 €.

Let's talk about packaging, first of all. The bullet shape is slightly reminiscent of MAC lipsticks, but the Iconic Pro packaging is glossy black combined with rose gold. It looks smart, sophisticated and gives a very affordable lipstick a feel of real luxury.

I love the fact that the bottom shows a bit of the color, meaning you wouldn't even need to turn the bullet around to see the color.

Anyway, the four shades I have are (from left to right below) the already mentioned Game of mystery matte, Somewhere out there, Not in love and the It eats you up matte.

Game of mystery matte is a nice peachy nude with a matte finish (yes, I am being Captain Obvious right now). I actually prefer it slightly smudged, since it really gives a natural »not giving a F« look, which is apparently what we're going for this summer ;)

Somewhere out there is a really intensive orange shade, definitely not for the faint of heart, because it would be hard to go unnoticed with this on the lips. To me, it looks exactly the color of a ripe nectarine.

Not in love (what a lie, right?) is a coral with pink undertones. It comes out a bit more sheer than the other lippies but it still definitely does its job.

Last but not least, my personal favorite, the lipstick I have decided I will OWN this summer – It eats you up matte. It is a crazy fuchsia color which I absolutely adore.

The staying power of these lipsticks is great – with eating and drinking, I still had a decent amount on my lips after 5 hours. Then it's up to you to decide how intense you want the color to be.

Aaaaaaand …… since I'm loving them, I am giving one away – of course, I bought another one of the It eats you up matte for you guys.

We won't do any crazy rules and conditions  -  to enter, share my Facebook post about this review on your Facebook timeline and like it. I will randomly pick a winner (with RNG) on Tuesday, 2nd of June.

Good luck!

I wish you all a great Sunday, filled with lovely moments in the sun. Until next time, stay beautiful!
