Over the years, I've learned that the less stress and steps I add to my skincare routine, the more likely I'm to follow it, hence also making it more likely for my skin to look good.
Admittedly, I could blame my recent lack of routine on baby M, but the truth is he sleeps for 12 hours straight throughout the night, making it perfectly easy for me to do the things that need getting done. So here it is - I'm lazy. That's right. After taking off my make-up, I slap on some night cream and call it a day.
My skin wasn't exactly happy with this so I decided to give it some more pampering. I went out and bought this Bocassy Clean&Tone tonic. This is my first Bocassy product and I must say I'm very impressed. At night, I apply it after taking off my make-up, and in the morning, it's the first step before everything else - moisturizers, primers etc.
At first, I didn't really enjoy the scent of it which is very herbal, but given the fact that it is produced entirely without perfumes, that can be understood. With key ingredients like Marigold, Aloe Vera and Green tea, you can only imagine the benefits for your skin.
The bottle is nice and looks luxurious, but to be honest, I prefer all my face products to have a pump or a spray, since they are a) easier to apply and b) you waste far less of the product.
It's not the cheapest tonic out there, but you can get the 200ml bottle in DM stores for about 10 €.
